Torresdale B.C. registrations for soccer are in June on Thursday

evenings (5^th, 12^th , 19^th and 26^th from 7 PM – 9 PM) and on Saturday’s

(7^th, 14^th, and 21^st) from 10 AM - 1 PM). There will be no late registrations

unless there is a need to fill a roster. For the 2008 fall season the fees for

the traveling program remain at $80 for your first child and $60 for each

additional child. Traveling soccer is for any child who is seven years of

age before August 1, 2008. Tryouts will be held if the number of

registrants exceed the maximum allowed on the roster. Our teams

participate in the United Junior Soccer League and the Department of

Recreation League, or both. This year our U-16 Girls and U -12 Boys will

compete in the Inter County Soccer League. The fees include a uniform.

All uniforms are collected at the end of the season.

Our intramural program costs $60 and consists of two separate leagues.

Your child must be three before August 1^st, 2008. Our Torresdale Tots

program starts with three and four year olds, boys and girls combined and

they play on a 25’ by 30’ field. The Torresdale Little Kickers consists of

five and six year olds, also boys and girls are combined and they play on

a 27’ by 50’ field. Both of these leagues play their games on Saturday

mornings and have a one hour training session on a weeknight. The rules

of play are five and a goalie with four by six nets. The season begins after

the Labor Day Holiday and ends the Saturday before Thanksgiving with a

pizza and participation award ceremony in the gym.

All of our coaches are volunteers and we are continuously looking for

assistance in training our young athletes in the game of soccer as well as
