SOCCER REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Torresdale Soccer registrations for 2013 will be held on Thursday’s (June 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th) from 7 PM – 9 PM, and
on Saturday’s (June 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th,) from 10 AM – 1 PM.
The objective of Torresdale Soccer is to provide a positive environment for children of all ages to learn a sport they enjoy.
All coaches are volunteers and are here to help the children grow as players and instill values such as team work and
sportsmanship in the children on the team.
Registration fees for the 2013 fall travel program are $100 for your first child and $75 for each additional sibling.
Travel Soccer is for any child who becomes seven years of age before August 1, 2017.
Some teams compete year round and in all decisions the coaches will have the final choice of roster selections.
It is to the discretion of the soccer directors if tryouts will be held for age levels where the registrants exceed the
maximum allowed on the roster that is set by the league. If there are enough registrants for two teams,
it will be the discretion of the director and coaches if there will be a tryout to determine the most competitive team.
Torresdale cannot guarantee a roster spot for any returning players who do not register in the scheduled dates.
Registrations will not be accepted beyond the scheduled registration dates unless there is a need to fill a roster.
Torresdale teams have the option of competing in the United Junior Soccer League, Department of Recreation League
or the Inter-County Soccer League.
Registration fees include a uniform. Uniforms are collected at the end of the season.
Our intramural program fees are $65 and consist of two separate leagues. Your child must be three before August 1st, 2013.
Our Torresdale Tots program are three and four year old, boys and girls alike, who play on a 25’ by 30’ field.
The Torresdale Little Kickers are age’s five and six year old, also boys and girls combined,
who play on a 27’ by 50’ field. Both of these leagues play their games on Saturday mornings
and have a one-hour training session on a weeknight. The rules of play are five and a goalie with four by six nets.
The season begins after the Labor Day Holiday and ends the Saturday before Thanksgiving
with a participation award ceremony in the gym.
