I am writing to ask if you would be so kind to help support our youth organization.  Torresdale Boy’s Club is a youth organization dedicated to providing the boys and girls of our community with athletic and cultural programs designed to foster good sportsmanship, camaraderie and character development.

We have recently experienced some infrastructure problems with our plumbing and roofing that will cost over $20,000.  We don’t want to have to significantly raise our registration fees because that money is reinvested back into the programs to cover expenses like league fees, equipment purchases, officiating fees and awards for the children.

I have recently formed a fundraising committee and we have decided to design advertising signs to sell to different business that want to contribute to a great cause.  We will be selling signs that are 2 feet by 3 feet.  We will be selling them for $365 and they will be posted year round on the batting cages right in the middle of the grounds of Torresdale Boys Club by our main baseball field, concession stand and soccer fields. 

Last year Torresdale Boys’ Club had well over 12,000 visitors come to our youth organization for baseball, softball, soccer, cheerleading, flag football and hockey games.  This year we will be hosting the Northeast Peanut League all-star games and the Philadelphia Department of Recreation outdoor soccer all-star games.

I am certain that this will be a win/win situation for everyone involved.  Having your business advertised at Torresdale Boys’ Club is great public relations.  I am certain that you will receive a worthwhile return on the modest expenditure involved and you will simultaneously be helping a great youth organization.
